Methodology

The editorial rule of this page is simple: no number appears without a named source and a date. When we cannot attribute a figure, it stays out.

The data comes from three origins. First, public sources and market consultancies (IBGE, Savills, CBRE), cited with name and time reference. Second, aggregates computed automatically over the markets TBO monitors with IBGE data and local market sweeps; these values are recalculated on every page regeneration. Third, TBO’s editorial archive: structured sweeps of 226 episodes of the Vem pra Mesa podcast (Sergio Langer) and 129 long-form ImobiReport records, in which every claim is attributed to a guest and a company.

Executive statements on podcasts are recorded as statements, not as official statistics: they matter for what they reveal about industry practice and always carry the name of whoever made them.

How to cite

When reusing a figure from this page, cite the primary source listed next to the number and, when useful, the compilation: TBO, Real estate market data and studies, wearetbo.com.br/en/data, 2026.
