Definition
Common areas are the parts of a condominium owned by all unit holders in ideal fractions: lobby, circulation, amenities, shared parking, façade and structure. In today's residential product, common areas became a central sales argument, with amenity packages working as an extension of the unit, especially in compact apartments, where they offset the smaller private area.
