TBO Glossary

CPL (cost per lead)

Definition

CPL (cost per lead) is media spend divided by the number of contacts generated. In real estate marketing, raw CPL misleads: what settles the equation is cost per qualified lead and, ultimately, cost per sale. A higher CPL made of product-fit leads usually beats a low CPL full of the merely curious.
