Definition
The habite-se is the occupancy certificate issued by the municipality confirming the building was completed according to the approved design and is fit for occupation. It is required to register the construction on the title, individualize the units and release buyers' bank financing at delivery. Without it there is no regular key handover or mortgage transfer.
