About the project

A vertical 3D film for a furniture collection developed with Itamar Levi Interior Design Studio, in Israel. TBO modelled every piece, built the interior set that stages them and animated the sequence, delivering the film and the reusable 3D assets in the same handover.

// Challenge

The collection had to be shown before it was manufactured, so photography was not an option. A sheet of static renders would not have carried what actually justifies these pieces: the boucle weave, the turned wood bases, the way light rolls across a curved back. The studio needed something that behaved like a product film and still fit a phone screen.

// Result

We modelled each piece, built a neutral interior set as the stage and moved the camera through it in 9:16, so the film plays full-frame on Instagram and inside a sales conversation without being cropped. The same models were handed over as reusable .obj, .fbx and .max assets, letting the studio place the collection in future interior projects without rebuilding it.

Frequently asked questions

What is Niso Furniture?

Niso Furniture is a furniture collection visualised in 3D by TBO for Itamar Levi Interior Design Studio, in Israel. The handover was a vertical film of the collection plus the 3D model of each piece.

What did TBO create for it?

Modelling of every piece, the interior set that stages them, lighting and look development, and the animation of the film. The models were also delivered as reusable .obj, .fbx and .max assets.

Why is the film vertical?

It was built for a phone screen. At 9:16 it plays full-frame on Instagram and in a sales conversation, with no cropping and no letterboxing.

Does TBO work with studios outside Brazil?

Yes. This project was produced remotely from Brazil for a studio based in Israel. The Capabilities page explains how the engagement, the file handover and the time zone overlap work.
